My photography is, to a great extent, a meditation on aspects of nature. It is neither an exploration, investigation, or even a contemplation. Rather, by relaxing into that which I am seeing, be it the original subject, or the resulting capture, I discover and come to terms with any number of truths, as well as discovering wonderful icons and totems. This is where it can become fascinating, as what I see is so often different from what others see, and leads to questions of how our individual cultures and heritage affect our understanding of what we see.
I also enjoy seeing the beauty in common sights-the visual world around us is rich with subtle beauty, irony, and wisdom. This I would term an exploration.
I see the print as the important final product of my endeavour. Each image, therefore, has information concerning medium and print size, as well as edition size and price.
